Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO)

The department has an online facility that enables visa holders to enquire about their immigration status. This is one of the most important parts of your student life. All VISAINFO students are urged to ensure that they visit this site on a weekly basis and make sure that their entitlements are current. Please set a reminder to this in your mobile phones. The reason this is of great importance is that if there is any problems or issues with your visa status it will be reflected on this website.

It is easier to handle a problem if you detect it early.

A number of visas are cancelled each year as students fail to keep a check about their visa status. For example, there are times that due to the error of the education provider you may be reported to immigration incorrectly, thereby jeopardizing your visa. If this is detected early then it may be fixed and the error corrected. A lot of students each year get into major trouble with immigration and sometimes have no options but to return to their country as they are not aware of what is happening to their visas. Please ask your VISAINFO International Education Counselor to assist you in understanding how to use this VEVO service which is free and online.
